PREPARATION AND EVALUATION OF POLYHERBAL HAIR OIL

. Abstract The main objective of the present study is about the preparation and evaluation of Polyherbal hair oil using various plant materials. The herbal cosmetics are nowadays widely used because of fewer side effects with better safety and security profile. Herbal hair oil was prepared from the hair growth. The formulated hair oil contain different herbal plant which are traditionally utilized for hair growth plants used are coconut oil, cucumis melo varagretis leaves, cucumis melo varagretis seeds, Indian tinospora leaves, hibiscus leaves, hibiscus flowers, curry leaves, neem leaves, onion, fenugreek, castor oil, rosemary oil, aloe vera. The prepared polyherbal hair oil evaluated different parameters such as pH, organoleptic properties, sensitivity test, saponification value, acid value, viscosity, phytochemical screening and spreadibility test. The primary skin irritation test is carried out. Hence, polyherbal hair oil considered to increase the hair growth, reduces hair loss, and providing protection against dandruff.
