A SYSTEMIC REVIEW OF PLANTS USED IN HERBAL SHAMPOO

. Abstract The use of botanical elements in herbal shampoo formulas is indicative of the increased inclination among consumers to use natural, plantbased hair care products. A comprehensive approach to hair cleansing and nourishing is provided by the synergistic blend of plant extracts, oils, and surfactants; the present review focuses on activity of wellknown plant derivatives effective as an ingredient of herbal shampoo. In-depth studies on the effectiveness and possible benefits of botanical ingredients should provide fresh perspectives on how to create inventive herbal shampoo formulas that meet the changing demands and tastes of discriminating consumers around the globe.
