A CRITICAL REVIEW ON SAMANYA VISHESHA SIDDHANATA W.S.R. TO FEEDBACK MECHANISM OF HOMEOSTASIS
Dr. Somanath Ginni*, Dr. Mahantswami Hiremath and Dr. Ashwini I. Honagannavar
Abstract Ayurveda is a science of life. There is an important belief in Ayurveda, known as the opinion of Samanya (similarity) and Vishesha (difference). While the principle was basically submitted in the context of yuktivyapashraya (balanced medicine) in Ayurveda, here we would like to contend that it has extensive pertinency in Ayurveda and beyond, across schemes and spheres of knowledge, including science, technology, and humanities, as well as methodical, empirical, and oldstyle information systems. Taking examples of some of the most wellknown glitches of ecology, economy, and society, we confirmed the universal significance of the principle of Samanya and Vishesha. To exemplify our argument, we have conversed three brief cases, as diverse as family, climate governance, and poverty reduction, and debated in the light of the Samanya and Vishesha. Evidently, these issues also have higher relevance to public health. Bringing an Ayurveda concept out from its premises is a new order of thinking. The path-breaking insights that were provided, have important implication for decoding other basic principles of Ayurveda from the perspective of their wider applicability, and thus their robustness. We have indicated a way forward for upcoming research in Ayurveda to mature knowledge-base for evidence-based medical practice in current society.[1] Keywords: Society, Ayurveada, medical, implication.
