NUTRITION AND WOUND HEALING: A BRIEF CONJECTURE

. Abstract The destruction/break/rupture/discontinuity of body tissue/part of body is called Wound. Chronic wounds are a large social, economic and healthcare burden in and around the world. Nutrition plays a critical role in wound healing, as it provides the necessary nutrients with wounds. Poor nutrition before or during the healing process may delay healing and impair wound strength, making the wound more prone to breakdown.
