SYNTHESIS, SPECTRAL STUDY AND ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY OF ISOXAZOLE MOLECULES BEARING IN PYRIDINES NUCLEUS

Abstract

A new series of compounds, namely 3-{3'-(methoxy)-4'-[3''-(methyl)- 4''-(2''',2''',2'''-trifluoroethoxy)-pyridin-2''-yl]methoxy phenyl}-5-arylisoxazoles (4a-4j), were synthesized. The chemical structures of these compounds were confirmed by 1H-NMR, IR, Mass spectral analysis. The compounds (4a-4j) have been evaluated their antimicrobial activity.
