FEMALE INFERTILITY: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE

. Abstract Due to wars in Iraq, since 1990 and after 2003, the Iraqi environment suffered from acts of profanation. A large number of injuries and deaths were caused by destructive chemicals and radioactive materials. These events resulted in either cancer or infertility. Infertility is one of the medical, social and psychological burdens in Iraqi society. It is defined as ―the failure to achieve a clinical pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse.
