FORMULATION, DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF ALOE VERA EXTRACT CAPSULES DELIVERY SYSTEM AS AN ADVANCED PHYTOTHERAPY APPROACH FOR CANCER

. Abstract Cancer is a disease, which involves abnormal growth of cells with the potential to invade and metastasize to other parts of the body. The Aloe Vera is plant widely distributed in Yemen. It is used internally to counter most of the problems of digestion, diabetes, immune system, and peptic ulcers. It also contains antibacterial, antiseptic, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, anti-oxidant, moisturizing and antiaging effects. hence widely used for the treatment of cancer and success in the highest cytotoxicity inhibition activity for different cell. The flower of Aloe Vera were collected from Saada, Yemen, and was prepared by encapsulation of powders from the Aloe Vera flower extract with various concentration of excipients. In the present study the Aloe Vera was formulated as capsules and evaluate for organoleptic properties using tests as, weight variation, drug content, in-vitro dissolution and other evaluation parameters. It was concluded that among the all formulations of Aloe Vera extract capsules the F1 was found to be as an optimized capsules according to drug release percentage 122.4% within 60 minutes so the F1 was the best formulation of Aloe Vera medicinal herbs extract capsules delivery system as an advanced phytotherapy approach for cancer.
