GREEN GOLD: UNEVELING THE HEALTH AND NUTRITIONAL SECRETS OF MORINGA

. Abstract Mother nature has always given us essential medicinal plants for long decades. Moringa oleifera is a multipurpose herbal plant use as human food and alternative for medicinal purpose worldwide. It has been identified by researchers as a plant with numerous health benifits. Including nutritional and medicinal advantages. Moringa Oleifera contains essential amino acids, carbohydrates in leaves and components with nutraceutical properties supporting the idea of using this plant as a nutritional supplement or constituent in food preparation. Some nutritional evaluation has been carried out in leaves and stem. Its leaves, seeds and pods contains high concentration of vitamins A,C and E, calcium, potassium, protein contributing to improve oral nutritional status. Moringa oleifera exhibits potent antioxidant activity attributed to its high content of polyphenols, flevanoids and vitamin C. These antioxidant helps combat oxidative stress, reduce immflamation and mitigate cellular damage, Theirby protective against chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disorders diabetes and cancer.
