INVESTIGATING BIOACTIVES IN OCCIMUM BASILLICUM THROUGH MOLECULAR DOCKING FOR POTENTIAL ANTI-LEPROSY
Kajal Ganesh Khatri and Dr. D. P. Kawade*
. Abstract This research paper aims to investigate the potential anti-leprosy properties of bioactives in Occimum basillicum through molecular docking. The study utilizes molecular docking as a method to identify the architecture of compounds computationally and evaluate their potential therapeutic properties for the treatment of leprosy. The research involves the preparation of the receptor and ligand, molecular docking, and ADMET studies to assess the binding affinity of bioactive ligands of Occimum basillicum for potential anti-leprosy activity. The findings of the study contribute to the understanding of the potential medicinal properties of Occimum basillicum and its bioactives in the context of leprosy treatment. Keywords: Investigating Study, Occimum basillicum, Antileprosy Therapy, DNA dependent RNA polymerase, Phytoconstituents, Ligands, Receptors, Virtual Screening.
