PHARMACOVIGILANCE AND AYURVEDA

. Abstract Since 1500 BC, the ancient Indian system of Ayurveda has been practiced in India. Its primary goals are to preserve normal health and treat illness. Patient safety and benefits have been given potential prominence by this system. It is a well-known truth that drug safety is a fundamental and elementary notion in medicine. In any medical system, adverse drug reactions, or ADRs, are a crucial component of patient safety evaluation. Therefore, it is important to examine pharmacovigilance in order to comprehend therapy outcomes. The topic of drug safety is currently being discussed. In the past, doctors would gather substances and then manufacture the medication on their own, but as civilization has advanced, cultures have evolved.
