Abstract

Highest stigma of society after leprosy is vitiligo, in the current scenario of advancement vitiligo has effective cosmetic value in the society. Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) made an attempt to identify the role of homoeopathic medicines which is useful in the treatment and management of Vitiligo. 0.5 to 1% of the population world-wide. As high as 8.8% prevalence have been reported in India. Vitiligo has a genetic background. >30% of the patient have reported vitiligo having any sibling or child.
