Abstract

According to Ayurveda, there are seven Dhatus i.e Rasa, Rakta, Mamsa, Medha, Asthi, Majja & Shukra Dhatu. The word Shukra is used to depict various meanings in Sanskrit literature and Ayurveda. But here in the context of the present study, the word Shukra is the seventh Dhatu of the body, which is considered as the Sara of all the other Dhatu and contributory factor for carrying out the reproductive functions. The function of Shukra Dhatu according to modern aspects can be explained as reproductive strength of the person, in this Shukra means semen only. Factors affecting Shukra Dhatu lead to Shukra Taaralya It can be correlated with sperm disorders which leads to infertility in males. This present case discussion is about the effective management of a case diagnosed as Shukra Taaralya with Vanga Yoga .It has got a significant role and scope for treating the present condition. The aim of this case report is to evaluate the effect of Vanga Yoga in Shukra Taaralya which leads to Male infertility. And its outcome reveals that the Sperm disorders which leads to Male infertility can be managed by Vanga Yoga.
