HARNESSING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) FOR ADVANCEMENTS IN PARENTERAL MEDICINE: A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW

. Abstract Parenteral administration plays a critical role in delivering therapeutics efficiently, particularly for patients with acute conditions or those which require rapid onset of action. As technology continues to evolve, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative tool in optimizing various aspects of parenteral medicine. This review article explores the multifaceted role of AI in enhancing the development, manufacturing, and monitoring of parenteral medications. We discuss how AI-driven approaches such as machine learning, deep learning, and data analytics contribute to quality control, and production processes which leads to improved product efficacy and safety. Furthermore, we explore the potential of AI in predictive modelling of drug stability, compatibility, and pharmacokinetics, facilitating informed decision-making throughout the drug development lifecycle. Through a comprehensive analysis of recent advancements and challenges, this review elucidates the pivotal role of AI in shaping the future of parenteral medicine, with implications for precision therapeutics and healthcare delivery.
