RECENT ADVANCES OF NANOSPONGES IN PHARMACEUTICAL FIELDS: A BRIEF REVIEW
Simranjeet Kaur, Mayank Bhardwaj, Dr. Naresh Singh Gill and *Supneet Kaur
. Abstract Nowadays, thanks to advancements in nanotechnology, the use of nanosponges (NS) in medication administration has greatly increased. A number of formulation-related issues can be resolved with nanosponges. A new and developing technology called nanosponge provides topical controlled medication delivery. In this review we have studied about the nanosponge how they target on a specific spot. Nanosponges are a non-toxic, non-mutagenic, and non-irritating drug delivery system. Increase the formulation's stability and flexibility. Nanosponges are prepared from Solvent method, Emulsion solvent diffusion method, Ultra sound assisted and Hypercross linked cyclodextrin. Cyclodextrin-based nanosponges are intelligent, adaptable carriers that have been thoroughly researched for use in medication delivery applications. They can function as a biocatalyst in the transport of proteins, enzymes, vaccines, and antibodies. They can also administer medications orally, topically, parenterally, and in other ways. The characteristics, preparation techniques, characterisation, and usage of nanosponges in drug delivery are the main topics of this review. Keywords: Nanosponges, Encapsulation, Emulsion, Polymer, Cyclodextrin. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
