PREPARATION AND EVALUATION OF HERBAL TOOTH POWDER FOR DENTAL CARE

Abstract

Herbal toothpowder consisting of many ingredient there are available in the environment in a wide range. The modern methods for focusing these aspects are benefits for standardization & evaluation of crude drug & their formulations. Toothpowder is very safe and effective herbal product. It is used for oral hygiene. It is used for multipurpose like- cavities, discoloration, of teeth, bad smell etc. The preparation & evaluation of toothpowder for its organoleptic & physical condition like that-colour, odour, taste, stability, moisture content, flow property, bulk density, Ph, formability etc. The toothpowder include the flavouring agent, sweetening agent & foaming agent used for this preparation.
