FAST DISSOLVING TABLETS OF TENELIGLIPTIN HYDROBROMIDE HYDRATE FOR THE TREATMENT OF DIABETES MELLITUS A BRIEF REVIEW

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a habitual metabolic complaint characterized by high blood sugar situations. Teneligliptin Hydrobromide hydrate is an oral antidiabetic medicine used to manage type 2 diabetes. This study focuses on the development, characterization, optimization, and in vitro evaluation of fast- dissolving tablets (FDTs) of teneligliptin Hydrobromide hydrate. FDTs are designed to dissolve fast in the mouth without the need for water, enhancing patient compliance. We employed colorful excipients and estimated the formulations for their physical plots, dissolution rates, and stability.
