Dhanshri H. Deshmukh*, Dr. Prashant S. Malpure, Dr. Gokul S. Talele and Yashodeep B. Patil
. Abstract The oral ulcer is a challenging problem since the number of oral ulcers may be superimposed by infections due to their easy access to the mouth cavity, and the thin nature of the oral mucous membrane adds to the difficulty in diagnosing them. An oral ulcer is a sore that develops on the membrane of the mouth cavity. Ulcers are open sores on the skin's surface or mucous membranes that drain inflammatory dead tissue. The mouth ulcer frequently causes pain and discomfort, and it may influence a person's eating habits while it heals. They may be classified as trauma, persistent aphthous stomatitis, Behcet's sickness, bacterial and viral infections based on how they present and progress. Mouth ulcers can be treated with a variety of synthetic drugs, but herbal medicine also has a significant impact on the treatment of mouth ulcers. Keywords: Mouth ulcer, Lesions, Aphthous Stomatitis.
