BICORNUATE UTERUS WITH FERTILITY: A CASE REPORT

. Abstract Pregnancy is anxiety-provoking as it is, but to go through it with a known condition that may contribute to problems and complications takes it to a whole other level. A case X, 38 year old G7 P0 A6 with 33 weeks gestation woman, with the history of recurrent pregnancy loss, spotting and right sacro anterior position on antenatal examination. USG disclosed revealed abruptio placenta. Hysterosalpingography revealed bicornuate uterus with widely separated uterine horns down to a variable distance in the cervical canal and an intercornual distance of 7cm. The mother underwent LSCS and delivered a male baby successfully. About 15%-25% of women with uterine anomalies have problem with fertility and reproduction. Reproductive outcomes of uterine anomalies can be improved with better management.
