A REVIEW OF LITERATURE ON NAYANABHIGATA W.S.R TO OCULAR INJURIES

. Abstract Eyesight is one of the most important senses that humans possess. If vision is lost, a blind man, although rich cannot enjoy the worldly pleasures. Hence, it is said that ‘Sarvendriyam nayanam pradhanam.[1] Any injury due to any external (Physical) or internal (Mental) factors that causes pain or other symptoms to the eye is called Nayanabhighata.[2] Ocular Trauma/Injury is said to be one of the leading cause of blindness worldwide.
