DESIGN, SYNTHESIS AND BIOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF SOME FULLY SUBSTITUTED PYRIDINE DERIVATIVES

. Abstract Fully substituted Pyridine derivative have been synthesized. Derivative was prepared by reaction of acetophenone, aromatic aldehyde and ammonium acetate in acetonitrile by using Ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN) (10%mol) as catalyst. The purity of compound was confirmed by TLC. The structure of synthesized compound has been recognized on the basis of their spectral (IR, NMR and Mass) analysis. Designing part was covered by the molecular docking studies. All derivatives were evaluated in vitro activity against several microbes.
