SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF CIPROFLOXACIN AND TINIDAZOLE IN COMBINATION OF DRUG PRODUCTS

Abstract

When treating variety of infectious co-administration of ciprofloxacin and tinidazole is a frequent therapeutic strategy. And also uses in as anti- amoebic broadly use in treatment of parasitic infections. That is used in the treatment of gastrointestinal infections such as acute diarrhea or dysentery, gynecological infections, lung infections and urinary infection. The objective of current investigation is validation and determination of combination of drug ciprofloxacin and tinidazole. The result obtained by the proposed method was compared with that obtained by the reference HPLC technique. Furthermore, the proposed method was successfully applied as stability‐indicating method for determination of tinidazole under different stressed conditions. The method showed good selectivity, repeatability, linearity and sensitivity according to the evaluation of the validation parameters.
