“FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF HERBAL TOOTH POWDERâ€

. Abstract Aim: Formulation and Evaluation of Herbal Tooth Powder. Objectives: In order to maintain dental health, including breath freshness and prevention of tooth decay, tooth powder is used in conjunction with a toothbrush. The purpose of this effort was to create a tooth powder that may be used as a tool for good oral hygiene and to mitigate the negative effects of the traditional tooth powder made with artificial substances. Material and Methods: A variety of herbal substances with antibacterial, antiseptic, and cooling characteristics were used to produce the tooth powder. The herbal substances utilized in this study to create tooth powder include gum acacia, neem, mentha, clove, amla, tulsi, ritha, stevia, cinnamon, fennel, pudina, camphor, and backing soda. These compounds can meet all the necessary attributes to keep the mouth fresh and to prevent tooth decay. Keywords: Clove, baking soda, tooth decay, oral hygiene, and tooth powder.
