. Abstract People in this futuristic era prefer to work quickly, so they are gradually abandoning traditional culture, village style living, eating habits, social behaviors, and work habits in favor of westernization. They also prefer to work from a table chair rather than perform physical labor, consume unhealthy fast food, and junk food, use premixes for quick and easy cooking, take too much stress, and even children forget to play outside during downtime. All these circumstances are exceedingly dangerous since they can result in a variety of lifestyle disorders. One such ailment is obesity, which increases the risk of numerous serious illnesses. Some people are aware of the serious health risks associated with being overweight, so they make a concerted effort to lose weight by going to the gym, fasting for extended periods of time, running on an empty stomach, substituting diet drinks for meals, and other methods. While they frequently succeed in doing so, they regrettably experience additional issues such as joint pain, skin conditions, and more. For Ati sthoula purusha, Ayurveda prescribes various treatments, Pathyapathya (wholesome and unwholesome food), and Saman aushadha (oral medication). This study focuses on choosing Panchakarma according to the underlying cause of Ati sthoulata to get optimal results and minimize difficulties in weight loss, with no concern for weight gain even after resuming a regular lifestyle. Keywords: Futuristic ers, Overweight, Pathyapathya, Saman aushadha. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
