NIDANARTHKAR ROGA AND ITS RELEVANCE IN THE PATHOGENESIS OF POST COVID-19
Dr. Pallavi Bharti* and Dr. (Prof.) V. S. Pandey
. Abstract Background: Amid the current challenges presented by COVID-19 and its associated complications, particularly when multiple diseases are intertwined, there is an imperative for a thorough comprehension of pathogenesis. These newly emerged diseases fall within the realm of Nidanarthkar Roga, a concept often overlooked but profoundly valuable for diagnosing a diseased condition. Nidanarthkar Roga can function as both: as the disease or as a contributing factor; some of them act in one way or another, either as a disease or as a causative factor. In the meantime, Nidanarthkar Roga, Vyadhi Sankara, and Upadrava all use a similar paradigm; there is a subtle distinction among the three. Ayurveda provides ample potential and options for treating and preventing Post COVID-19 Complications, presenting a significant learning opportunity. Aims: To bridge the gap in appropriate understanding of COVID-19 and its complications within the framework of Ayurvedic pathogenesis tools i.e. Nidanarthkar Roga and Vyadhi Sankara. Method: Reviewed the literatures of Ayurvedic and modern science available from vedic era to present era. Result: After gaining the knowledge of Nidanarthkar Roga, it can be helpful in prognosis and planning treatment protocol of Post COVID-19 complications. Conclusion: Nidanarthkar Roga and Vyadhi Sankara plays a significant role in the pathogenesis of manifested diseases from COVID 19 pandemic as Mucormycosis, CVD, CKD etc. Keywords: Nidanarthkar Roga, Vyadhi Sankara, Upadrava, COVID-19.
