. Abstract Chronic kidney disease, also called chronic kidney failure, involves a gradual loss of kidney function. Patients with chronic kidney disease are being administered with several drugs which have the potential to cause major drug drug interactions. Early noticing of these interactions will aid in close monitoring and prevention of adverse reactions thus in turn aiding to patient safety and efficacy.
