Abstract

Computer technology has revolutionized the pharmacy industry, greatly enhancing patient care, accuracy, and efficiency. Pharmacists are becoming more aware of computer technology because of the development of drug databases, bioinformatics tools, and online learning and simulation tools. Moreover, computer technology has also fostered telemedicine and telehealth services. In this paper, an overview of the revolutionary role that computer technology plays in contemporary pharmacy is given in the introduction section. This study draws attention to the noteworthy developments in patient safety, operational effectiveness, and regulatory compliance and paves the way for a more thorough examination of the many uses and advantages of computers in pharmacy.
