Ashwini Vijay Patil* and Abhishek Vasant Bhadakwad

Abstract

In comparison with synthetic cosmetics, herbal cosmetics are utilised more often these days. Synthetic cosmetics can have a number of adverse consequences, including ocular toxicity, excessive hair dryness, and salt build-up on the hair shaft. Hair loss and dandruff are two big issues. The hairfall and antifungal herbal shampoo was developed for this study, and it was assessed using a number of tests, including the foaming index, swelling index, solid condition, and tests for skin and eye irritation. The purpose of this study was to ascertain the antifungal and hairfall properties of the herbal shampoo formulation. Using natural components, Ocimum sanctum (Tulsi) and Allium cepa (onion seed) were used to produce the herbal shampoo. Bhringraj or Eclipta prostrata. Both are acting to prevent hair loss. As a result, the current investigation shown that Ocimum sactum and Ecliptic prostrate, Allium cepa had hair fall activity. Herbal remedies are now widely used for both medicinal and financial purposes. The antifungal shampoo and hair fall remedy made from natural plants work better than synthetic medications, which can have some negative side effects. The two plants that were chosen for their antifungal and hair loss preparations also have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Aqueous emulsions with multiple surfactants, at least one of which has potent detergent qualities, various additives to boost cleaning efficacy or sensory aspects, one or more preservatives, and aroma are the usual ingredients of shampoos. Shampoos designed to prevent hair loss may have one or more active ingredients that work independently of the quite distinct sums for the same and different processes.
