FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF ANTIDIABETIC CHOCOLATE BY USING HERBAL EXTRACT OF TRIDAX PROCUMBEN

Abstract

The acceptance criteria for Tridax Procumben as medicine is very low due to its bitter taste, but it possesses lots of therapeutic properties such as anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory, anti- septic, insecticidal, parasiticidal, hepatoprotective, antidiabetic activity immunomodulating property, anticancer, antihypertensive etc. The chocolate formulation was this research is based on the herbal based chocolate formulation for a diabetic person. Further, prepared medicated chocolate is evaluated for texture, taste, bloom test, stability etc.
