A REVIEW ARTICLE ON TAMAKA SWASA (BRONCHIAL ASTHMA)

. Abstract One of the most prevalent respiratory conditions is bronchial asthma. Because of smoke, pollution, and other environmental variables, asthma is more common in urban parts of India than in rural ones. bronchial asthma according to modern therapeutic approaches that have dose dependence and long-term negative effects. bronchial asthma, or Tamaka Shwasa, is seen as a Pranavaha Srotasa disease. Tamak shwasa is primarily Kapha and Vata. This medical condition is called thus because "breathlessness" and a feeling of darkness are its main symptoms. Tamaka Shwasa is a Yappya-type ailments, according to Acharya Charaka So, the present conceptual study helps to understand the disease of the modern era by the Ayurvedic perspective and contributes in the integrative approach in the management of Tamaka Shwasa or bronchial asthma.
