Dr. Sourik Ghosh, *Dr. Aayushi Gupta, Dr. Siddhi Jain and Dr. Harsh Shekhar Sharma

Abstract

Nephrolithiasis or kidney stone, is a widespread condition characterized by the formation of mineral deposits in the kidneys, which can cause significant pain and renal damage. The condition encompasses various types of stones, including calcium oxalate and uric acid, each requiring specific treatment approaches. What makes nephrolithiasis unique is its potential link to gut microbes, which influences stone formation through metabolic processes. Advances in diagnostic and treatment methods, such as minimally invasive procedures, have improved patient outcomes. Homeopathy offers an alternative approach in managing the cases of nephrolithiasis by using highly diluted remedies tailored to individual symptoms. Case Summary: A 49-year-old male presented with complaint of pain in abdomen and gastric complaints with slightest burning in urine for 20- 25 days. The USG finding was suggestive of right sided renal calculi. After detailed case taking and proper repertorisation single dose of NUX VOMICA 200 and SABAL SERULATA mother tincture was administered.

Keywords: Nephrolithiasis, Homoeopathy, Totality of symptom, Nux Vomica, Sabal Serulata.
