Abstract

Manuscriptology, the scientific study of ancient handwritten documents, plays a crucial role in the preservation and dissemination of knowledge across generations. This review explores the significance of manuscripts in Ayurveda, the challenges faced in their preservation, and the ongoing efforts to safeguard these invaluable resources. By examining various types of manuscripts, their historical context, and modern conservation techniques, this article highlights the importance of manuscript preservation for maintaining cultural heritage and advancing scientific knowledge.
