Abstract

Women is the root of life for all the human beings and so she should be able to live her life without any disease which are either physical or psychological. Yonivyapad is one such group of many diseases which is primarily of the female genital tract and it sometimes affects the psychology of the female too. For the treatment of such yonivyapada Jeevniya gana Dravyas can be used as stated by Acharya Charak and Vagbhatta. Jeevniya gana signified drugs beneficial for life. Acharya Charaka and Vagbhatta enlisted ten such medical plants which can be used as jeevniya. All these herbs being very essential in functioning of the body in terms of sustaining life activities and rebuilding can be compared to nutrients and immunity booster.
