AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT OF ARDHAVABHEDAKA W.S.R TO MIGRAINE – A SINGLE CASE STUDY

. Abstract In the present case study, a 22 years old girl consulted in the ayurvedic clinic after a spectrum of allopathic treatment with huge disappointment. The girl had the presenting complaints, severe throbbing pain on the side of head with nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light and sound. By examining and questioning the patient, the signs and symptoms were diagnosed as ardhavabhedaka which has similarities with migraine as per modern medicine. The patient was treated with nasya with nirgundi oil, lepa with sariva, kusta, vacha, pippali mixed with til taila and orally take shiroshooladi vajra rasa. At the end of the study, improvement in the study and duration and severity and reduction in nausea, vomiting and photophobia. Along with medication, the patient was also advised to follow diet and lifestyle restrictions. The patient got relief in sign and symptoms. Keywords: . [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
