Abstract

Jeerakadya Ghrita is a effective ayurvedic ghrita for management of Amlapitta. This ghrita contains Deepan, pachan and tridosh shaman Dravya which help to reduce symptoms like kapha – pittaj aruchi, mandagni and Chhardi. Chakradatta mentioned it in Amlapitta chikitsa prakaran. This article represents the preparations, indications and role of Jeerakadya ghrita in Amlapittachikitsa.
