Dr. Shubham Sharma* and Dr. Swati
. Abstract Sexual health is a vital component of overall well-being, yet it is often overlooked in traditional health paradigms. Yoga, an ancient mindbody practice, has gained recognition for its potential to enhance sexual health through its holistic approach, targeting both physical and psychological dimensions. This review explores the scientific evidence supporting the role of yoga in improving sexual function, satisfaction and intimacy for individuals across different life stages. The physiological benefits of yoga, such as increased flexibility, pelvic floor strength, hormonal balance and enhanced blood circulation are key contributors to improved sexual performance. Through regular practice, yoga may enhance intimacy and connection with a partner by promoting body awareness, self-acceptance and communication. This review highlights the therapeutic potential of yoga in addressing a wide range of sexual health issues, including erectile dysfunction, low libido, premature ejaculation and female sexual dysfunction, while emphasizing the need for further research to solidify these findings and understand the longterm benefits.[1] Keywords: Sexual Health, Yoga, Meditation, Yogasana.
