Vd Punam Pawar* and Vd. Aniket Joshi
. Abstract In Ayurveda, one of the most well-known texts is Yogaratnakara (1676 AD). It is an anthology of many classical writings that were available at the time, spanning from antiquity until the latter half of the 17th century AD. This book's expertise lies in its compilation of a single medication in several forms tailored to suit distinct medical situations. The author has concentrated on the usage of ekala dravya in each chikitsa-prakarana in order to streamline the preparation and therapy. The goal of this effort is to compile data on a single medicine in the specified condition. The aim of this research is to compile a list of the ekala dravya prayoga (single drug applications) that are specified for different ailments and disorders according to Yogaratnakara purvardha. Detail review of purvardha khanda of Yogaratnakara was carried out based on Hindi Commentary, Vidyotini teeka by Vaidya Sastri Laksmipati and edited by Sastri Brahmasankar, published by Chaukhamba publication.
