Abstract

ROLE OF JALAUKAVACHARAN IN CHRONIC NON HEALING WOUND - A CASE STUDY

Abstract

This case study deals with role of Jalaukavacharan in chronic non healing wound. A 52 yrs. obese hypertensive male patient having chronic non healing wound on right shin (lower 1/3rd part) since 1 year. Patient had been treated with all routine modern line of treatments but didn’t respond to any one of them. So he came for Ayurvedic treatment. The treatment given to him for eight weeks is as follows. Jalaukavacharan over the wound area done weekly for 8 weeks 2 jalauka applied each time with oral Ayurvedic medicine & dressing was done by Eladi taila then wound responding very well & healing process started. Patient got result by Ayurvedic medicine & Jalaukavacharan.
