IN-SILICO, IN-VITRO ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AND ANTIDIABETIC ACTIVITY OF SOME NOVEL BENZOXAZOLE DERIVATIVES
Zohra J.*, Dr. Kalpana D., Muskan and Binu C.
Abstract The current research outlines a series of benzoxazole derivatives (HB- 1 to HB-10) exhibiting in-silico and in-vitro anti-inflammatory and antidiabetic activity. Computational studies for targets were conducted using AutoDock and various software tools. The compounds were assessed for in-vitro anti-inflammatory activity using the Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) denaturation assay and in-vitro antidiabetic activity by using α-amylase inhibition assay. Compounds HB-1 and HB-2 demonstrated strong anti-inflammatory effects with IC50 values 101.53 and 81.94μg/mL, comparable to the standard drug diclofenac sodium. Additionally, the antidiabetic activity of HB-1 and HB-3 showed significant effects with IC50 values in 168.24 and 194.75μg/mL, as compared to the standard drug acarbose. Keywords: Benzoxazole, in-silico, in-vitro, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, diclofenac sodium and acarbose. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
