REVIEW ARTICLE OF PRABHAWA

Abstract Background:- Ayurveda is an extensive approach for treatment and health management. Ayurveda provides numerous essential principles connected to life and health repair one of which is Dravyaguna Vigyan. Dravya Guna is a branch of Ayurveda that deals with the rasa. Guna virya, vipaka, and prabhava (Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics) of herbs. The branch also deals with the identification, collecting, storage, and preservation of raw plant resources. As indicated by Ayurvedic pharmacology the medication activity is credited to specific standards in particular Rasa. Guna, Virva, Vipaka and Prabhava. It was found that drugs and the living body shareon a composition known as Panchabhutika, and that, when used responsibly, drugs have the potential to affect several aspects of the body. Many of the Ayurvedic ideas contained in the Samhitas may appear simple at first glance, but their brief presentation makes them quite challenging to grasp. Certain ideas need to be investigated. according to how well they can be put into practice. This includes one such concept which is known as Prabhava. Prabhava refers to a specific action or biotransformation or post digestion effect of the drug. A drug works according to rasa (taste), virva (potency) and vipaka (biotransformation or post digestion effect). Every drug has specific configuration. Prabhava is variety of other concepts, including but not limited to Shakti. Vichitra Pratvavarabdha. Vikriti Visham Samveta. Achintya Virya or Achintya, Aims and objectives- this paper trying to elaborate evaluate and discuss the concept of Prabhawa and Ayurvedic drug action according to them Material and Methods:- For the purpose of the current conceptual study, a through survey of the literature on prabhawa theory in the form of dissertations. Thesis review article internet sources contemporary concept and Reference texts is done. Discussion:- prabhawa is involved in each diagnostic and therapeutic phase while the selection and administration of drugs they are individualized, considering person's Prakriti and vkriti which only achievable after having a thorough understanding of Prabhawa, which serves as the connerstone for all other siddhanta (Principles).
