.

Abstract

Ayurveda, meaning "the science of life," is one of the oldest holistic healthcare systems, emphasizing harmony between mind, body, and spirit. It focuses on prevention, natural healing, and personalized medicine. Eka Dravya Prayoga (single drug formulations) are preferred for their targeted action and reduced complexity, often used in early stages of disease or as preventive measures. Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine, emphasizes the use of single drug formulations derived from natural sources like herbs, minerals, and animal products. These formulations are generally regarded as safe due to their natural origin. However, adverse effects can arise from improper usage, poor-quality raw materials, incorrect preparation, or individual sensitivity. This article explores the adverse effects associated with single drug formulations in Ayurveda and discusses strategies for ensuring safety and efficacy through effective risk management.

Keywords: Ayurveda, single drug formulation, Adverse effects, risk management, safety, efficacy, pharmacovigilance, Quality assurance, Artificial Intelligence Ayurvedic raw drug.
