ADVANCEMENTS AND CHALLENGES IN CAR T-CELL THERAPY

. Abstract The application of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) in the therapy of Tcell to treat hematologic malignancies has advanced significantly. This review examines the historical progression, mechanism of action, and obstacles, along with clinical uses connected with CAR T cell treatment. Additionally, it highlights ongoing research efforts aimed at overcoming current limitations and expanding the therapeutic possibilities for CAR T cells. The paper also covers the latest developments in CAR design, and manufacturing techniques, along with clinical management, offering a thorough examination of the present status as well as potential future advancements in the therapy of CAR T cells.
