ROLE OF GLYSIKOT GRANULES IN DIABETES MELLITUS ALONG WITH ANTIDIABETIC MEDICINE- A CASE REPORT

Abstract

Diabetes is one of the most common health circumstances that affect over 10% of the adult population globally. Over 10% of adults worldwide suffer with diabetes, making it one of the most prevalent medical conditions. Diabetes often referred to as madhumeha in Ayurvedic and Sanskrit nomenclature, can complicate life for a number of reasons. First of all, it has a significant impact on the dietary decisions that one can make. Second, a number of health issues may arise as a result of blood sugar increases. Diabetes is also known to have a significant impact on the health of the neurological system, kidneys, feet, cardiovascular system, and eyes. In accordance with the ancient teachings, Ayurvedic treatment for diabetes includes herbal medicines, and some external purification modalities like Panchakarma, its different procedures (Vamana, Virechana, Vasti, etc.), and many more help in cleansing the body .Apart from such external procedures Kotakkal Ayurveda pharma revealed a beautiful preparation known as Glysikot. Hence an attempt has made to see the effect of Glysikot in diabetes.
