Abstract

The main intent for the formation of Polyherbal Hand wash Gel is for Hand Hygiene. Herbal medicines are one of the major parts of the healthcare around the world. Herbal Medication is also known as Botanical treatment or Phyto – medicine. There is various Hand wash available in the market which have some negative effects, to avoid these negative effects like itching, dermatitis, irritation etc the artificial hand wash formulation an attempt has been made to develop a polyherbal hand wash using Neem extract (Antimicrobial activity) and Tulsi (Purifying activity) against the microbes or disease-causing bacteria and protect your skin. In the formulation of polyherbal handwash, along with Neem and Tulsi, there are some added herbal drugs or herbs added which plays key role later on. Herbal hand wash has Parameters such as color, fragrance, pH, viscosity, spread Ability, foam height, foam retention, skin irritation test, cleaning action, dirt dispersion test, antimicrobial activity etc. Its effectiveness was checked and compared with the Marketed Hand wash acknowledge results were within the acceptable limits with less or no side effects The Present study was carried out to prepare Polyherbal Hand wash Gel carrying herbal extract which is used not only for the purpose of cleaning hands but also for the prohibition of bacterial growth. Its composition was arranged according to fragility of skin so that it cannot cause any type of irritation. So, it can be achieved that the Polyherbal Hand wash Gel are much superior than plain soaps or actual marketed artificial hand wash due to their ingredients and efficacy on our skin or hands and as well as relevant for all skin type.
