FROM HABIT TO HEALTH CRISIS: A REVIEW ON THE EXISTENCE OF LIFESTYLE DISORDERS

Abstract A person's way of life is connected to lifestyle-related illnesses. Common lifestyle diseases include heart-related conditions, hormone imbalances, obesity, high blood pressure, and stroke. These result from unhealthy eating habits, drug and alcohol abuse, sedentary lifestyles, inconsistent sleep patterns, etc. These conditions take years to manifest. It is hard to quit once you get going. The majority of individuals rely on medications these days. People are more prone to lifestyle diseases as a result of their present lifestyle choices. The development of technology has allowed people to live more luxurious lives. Because people are so focused on speed, they are not adhering to the standard scientific recommendations for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which increases the chance of developing lifestyle diseases. Numerous additional variables lead to the development of lifestyle disorders in adults such as unsafe life, working conditions, stress etc. Ayurveda also explains that Nidana sevana, such as Aharaja, Viharaja, and Mansika, are the cause of all diseases. Living a healthy life is possible if one follows the correct Ahara and Vihara. The physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of an individual is validated by Ayurvedic therapy. It is well known for providing a systematic system of traditional healthcare that includes both curative and preventive care. Ayurveda offers a range of methods for treating lifestyle disorders, including the use of Rasayanas, Sadvritta, Achara Rasayana, and Dharniya vega, as well as Dincharya, Ratricharya, Ritucharya and Panchakarma.
