. Abstract Jalavisha (water contamination) poses serious health risks due to pollutants from natural and human-made sources. Ayurveda emphasizes Jalashuddhi (water purification) using methods like boiling, filtration, sunlight exposure, and herbal detoxification with Kataka, Tulsi, and Usheera. These traditional techniques align with modern water purification principles, offering sustainable and effective solutions.
