. Abstract Spirulina is a type of blue-green algae that grows in both saline water and freshwater environments. It has been consumed for centuries due to its high nutritional content and numerous health benefits. Spirulina is packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and protein, making it a popular superfood choice for many health-conscious individuals. In terms of pharmacological activities, spirulina has been found to possess potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and immune-boosting properties. These activities are primarily attributed to the various bioactive compounds present in spirulina, such as phycocyanin, chlorophyll, beta-carotene, and gamma-linolenic acid. Keywords: .
