FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF HERBAL ANTIDANDRUFF GEL

. Abstract The present research has been undertaken with the aim to formulate and evaluate the herbal gel containing Alovera juice, Garlic extract, Amla extract. Ginger extract. The gel formulation was designed by using aqueous, ethanolic extracts in varied concentrations along with different polymer. The physiochemical parameters of formulations (washability, viscosity, spreadability etc.) were determined. The results showed that formulation containing 1 gm of ethanolic extract of Alovera juice, Emblica officinalis, Allium sativum Linn, Zingiber officinale (ginger) have promising effect than other formulations.
