. Abstract Herbal cosmetics are gaining popularity due to their natural composition, safety, and therapeutic benefits. This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of polyherbal face pack containing Centella asiatica, known for its anti-acne, anti-psoriatic, and anti-eczematic properties. The formulation incorporates Multani mitti, Aloe vera, Sandalwood, Turmeric, Orange peel, and Rose petals powder. This study includes plant collection, authentication, drying, powdering and formulation of four different batches (F1-F4). The prepared formulations were evaluated for organoleptic properties, physicochemical characteristics, irritancy potential, washability and antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Among the formulations, F3 exhibited the best results in terms of particle size, angle of repose, bulk density and antimicrobial efficacy, showing significant inhibition of microbial growth comparable to standard antimicrobial agents. The study confirms that Centella asiatica based face packs offer a natural, effective alternative for skincare, particularly in treating acne, psoriasis, and eczema. These findings support the potential of herbal formulations in cosmetic applications, highlighting their safety, efficacy, and minimal side effects. Keywords: Centella asiatica, herbal cosmetics, antimicrobial activity, polyherbal formulation, skincare, face pack. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
