Abstract "Adopting healthy behaviours is the most effective strategy for preventing illnesses. However, due to the complexities of a woman's daily life, healthy living is often neglected. A woman's vaginal health is equally important as her overall health, and a healthy woman is a guarantee of a long and fulfilling life. Throughout various stages and periods of a woman's life, she experiences physical and psychological transitions. Additionally, she has a dual responsibility of managing her family and career, requiring her to be in optimal physical and mental condition. A healthy vagina is essential for a woman to lead a safe, healthy, and confident life. Vaginal inflammation can occur due to infections or an imbalance in the normal ratio of yeast and bacteria in the vagina. Shweta Pradara is a bothersome symptom that can be a complication in various disorders. As Shweta Pradara is a symptom and not a disease, its etiopathogenesis coincides with that of the primary illness. It can be described as an Apana Vayu-regional Kaphaja disease. White discharge can also result from infections in the uterus and vagina caused by specific organisms. A female patient with Shweta Pradara was treated with Sthanik Chikitsa, Yoni Prakshalana and Yoni pichu resulting in significant symptom relief. Keywords: Shweta Pradara, Yoni Prakshalana, Yoni pichu, Leucorrhoea, White Discharge. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
