CURRENT PERSPECTIVES ON ANTI-ACNE AND FAIRNESS CREAMS: EFFECTIVENESS AND CHALLENGES

Abstract The increasing preference for natural skincare solutions has stimulated interest in the therapeutic potential of herbal ingredients for managing acne and enhancing skin fairness. This review examines the efficacy of Cow Ghee, Helicteres isora, Nutmeg, Long Pepper, Parijat Oil, and Grapefruit Oil in providing anti-acne, skin-nourishing, and fairness benefits. These ingredients are analyzed for their antimicrobial, antiinflammatory, antioxidant, and skin-nourishing properties, emphasizing their application in natural skincare formulations. Acne and hyperpigmentation are among the most common dermatological concerns worldwide, impacting individuals’ quality of life. Natural remedies are increasingly favored due to their efficacy and minimal side effects compared to synthetic treatments. This review examines the use of Cow Ghee, Helicteres isora, Nutmeg, Long Pepper, Parijat Oil, and Grapefruit Oil as key ingredients in an anti-acne and fairness cream. The phytochemical profiles, mechanisms of action, and dermatological benefits of these ingredients are analyzed, providing a framework for formulating a multifunctional herbal cream. Keywords: .
